What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodivergent people process the world differently, here are some links to explain more and support you

Some children and young people may think, learn, or experience the world differently due to conditions like autism, ADHD, or dyslexia. The term “SEND” stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and you may hear this used by professionals such as in school.  Understanding and accepting neurodiversity helps create a more supportive and inclusive environment.

In Plymouth, the Neurodiversity Wellbeing Team offer a confidential, free advice line available to all children, young people  and their families who have a diagnosis or are waiting for an assessment
