Social Media Competition

Prizes up for grabs for COVID messaging competition for young people.

A Social Media Competition – Creative COVID messaging by and for young adults in Nottinghamshire – is now open.
Nottinghamshire County Council is asking young people aged 16-25 in the county to design a piece of promotional material, such as a short video or a piece of graphic design, to help raise awareness of the Covid-19 vaccination for young people, and to encourage them to consider getting vaccinated when this is offered.
Entries to the competition will be judged in two categories: 16-18 years and 19-25 years.
The prizes on offer to winners include £50 shopping vouchers for sports and leisure retailers, gym passes kindly donated by district council partners and their leisure service providers (for gyms local to the winner), and cinema tickets.
The closing date for the competition is May 31st, 2022.
More competition details, along with how to submit an entry, how the winning materials will be used, and some ideas about what could be covered, are available by visiting: https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/care/coronavirus/social-media-competition#competition
