Young Consumer Influencer of the Year is national competition that has been developed by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) with our partners Consumer Empowerment Alliance, Experian, Office for Product Safety & Standards and Stop Loan Sharks.

Teams of up to three people can enter by submitting a song, story, rap or poem on one of the three subject areas – loan sharks, product safety or the dangers of fireworks. The deadline for entries is 30 September.

Selected finalists will then compete via social media to win the competition, with the winner having the most likes or shares.

The ultimate winner will be announced and invited to perform their winning entry at the House of Commons at CTSI’s Hero Awards on 22 November.

What can I win?

The winning team will win £1,000 for their school as well as a £100 shopping voucher each. Second place will each receive £50 shopping vouchers, and third place will each receive £25 shopping vouchers.
