Young Oasis Hastings offers free, one-to-one therapy for children and teens aged five to 18 who are affected by a family member’s drug or alcohol use. You’ll get up to 16 sessions with a trained therapist in a safe space where you can talk, play, and work through your feelings. It’s based in Hastings and open during term time and holidays. You can refer yourself or ask a parent, carer or professional to help.

Helping teens who help others
If you’re between five and 17 and care for someone — like a parent, sibling, or friend — who needs extra help because of illness, disability, or age, this service is here for you.
They offer free activities during school holidays and monthly clubs for young carers aged eight to 17 in Bexhill, Eastbourne and Uckfield, along with advice and help finding support. For older teens aged 17 to 25, there are social hangouts, workshops, a private Facebook group, and help accessing grants.
