Make your Mark 2024 – VOTE NOW

If you’re aged 11-18, you can have a say on the issues that matter most to you by taking part in Make Your Mark!

An infographic poster sharing information about how to vote. A QR code is included that links to the Instagram page of the Devon Youth Council.

As well joining in with the national ballot, participants can vote on what they believe are the key local issues affecting young people in Devon. The 10 local issues include:

  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Discrimination and bullying
  • Police and crime
  • Pollution
  • Transport
  • Vaping
  • School life
  • Activities and opportunities
  • Mental health
  • Preparation for adult life

You can find a list of the 30 schools that are taking part in Make Your Mark on the Devon Youth Council Instagram page, but don’t worry if your school isn’t signed up; you can still participate!

To vote online, please email ukyouthparliament@devon.gov.uk and ask for a Make Your Mark voting code and link. Alternatively, after half term you can head to one of the eight Space youth centres across Devon and cast your vote there.

The results of the vote will set the agenda for the Devon Youth Council, who will campaign for change in those areas.
