One to one or group support for young people affected by domestic violence – either within your family or in your own intimate relationship. The project has been created to help you understand domestic abuse and healthy relationships, learn techniques for emotional regulation, work through guilt and shame, and engage in discussions. It is available for young people aged 8-18 (up to 24 if you have a learning disability or are a care leaver) across Devon (within Devon County Council boundaries), excluding Plymouth and Torbay. The sessions are personalised to your needs. Topics you may explore together include things like: How trauma affects the brain, managing emotions, understanding self-worth and healthy relationships, and building self-love and confidence.
