Being a parent can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re young- but you’re not on your own.
The Health Visiting Service is available for parents across Bradford, regardless of how old you are. It is run by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust (BDCFT).

The Health Visiting team support families getting ready to be parents and giving birth, to child’s toddler years and starting school.
They visit parents and their baby at six key stages- before the baby is born, shortly after birth and at 6-8 weeks, 3-4 months, 9-12 months and 2-2 ½ years.
Health visitors advise on a broad range of areas from your baby’s development, sleeping patterns, teething, feeding and toilet training, as well as helping you to look after yourself. The Health Visiting Team can support both parent and baby.
