Hello everyone! Welcome to this weeks web chat which is on Mental Health awareness.
Mental health is something we don't always prioritise but we need to look after our mental and emotional health as much as our physical wellbeing. They are as important as each other and have an impact on each other.
Being aware of looking after ourselves physically will help our mental health and visa versa!

Hello everyone!
Welcome again to todays chat on Mental health awareness.
We all have mental and emotional health just as we have physical health.
We need to look after our physical and mental health equally as one has an impact on the other.
If we get a good life style balance it helps to keep us well and let us know when something feels not or not right.
Can anyone think of what we can do to keep mentally well?

Chat Health (Nurse - Moderator) / 8 May 16:54

Try to keep a good life style balance - be aware that poor sleep and too much energy drinks/caffeine can make you irritable, more confused, anxious and have mood swings!
Try to relax, exercise, have fun with friends, work and rest in equal portions!

This weeks chat is now ending.
Remember to look after yourselves! If you do feel sad, angry, frustrated, worried or anxious then find someone you feel safe with and trust to talk to - It could be a friend, family member, your GP or School Nurse or contact Child line or Samaritans and Young Minds have lots of information on mental health.
Have fun, stay safe! :)
