Taking time out for several deep breaths can really make you feel better. Try counting to 10.
A nicotine craving lasts for under a minute if you take your mind off it. Walking away and taking deep breaths will help. So will sipping on water or getting more active.
Listen to music.
A big part of why people find it difficult to quit is because they miss something to do with their hands. Find something different that won’t cost you a fortune or be likely to make you ill. In years to come, you’ll be so glad you did it now.
