Taking some simple steps can be the start of you taking back control
1. Talk and share your worries
Find someone you trust and feel safe to talk to.
2. Relaxation and mindfulness
Give yourself time to relax daily and practice mindfulness.
Practice some breathing exercises to ease worries and stress.
3. Challenge your thoughts
What is it that you are actually worried about?
Be positive, imagine your glass as half full not half empty.
Instead of thinking i can’t ,change your thinking to ‘I can’t yet’
4. Be kind to yourself!
Make healthy choices with your diet and drink, avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Make sure you get enough sleep.
Focus on the things you enjoy, like music.
Try something new!
